I started using this brand case in 2012, at that time the airlines instituted a cash free cabin. The case I purchased in hopes of solving the problem was the Smartish CM4.
The Smartish wallet was the most compact case that was also protective. It holds three cards securely, has a slightly raised lip that protects the screen from cracking when dropped, it is grippy without being sticky and it fits in my pocket easily. As an added benefit, I can leave the house with just my phone and keys, no need for a purse.
This case is very durable. I have had to replace the case only once during the 12 years that I have used this brand - I only buy a new case when I get an upgraded phone. Outstanding service record in my book!
When I purchased my latest iPhone, I chose to order a custom print on the case. In the intervening time I used another brand of case - awful! I was thrilled when my Smartish order arrived.

Great quality, keeps cards secure
I don't think the ad does it justice. If you're a minimalist, this is what you're looking for. I carry 3 cards, and I would say 3 cards is the max for this. Don't listen to the people saying cards are too hard to get out. That's exactly what you want in a case like this. Just use your brain and learn how to remove the cards easily. Although I would say it's easier with short nails, it's still perfectly doable without using your nails.Importantly, the card is not a one-trick. As in, the wallet isn't its only good feature. Its bendy with a textured 'rubber-ish' grip that feels nice in your hand and fits perfectly on the device. It's of great quality and has substance. In the ad the quality of the back texture doesn't look as good as it actually is. The texture is almost addictive to touch.By the way, fellow minimalist and iPhone user, if you live in a state which allows you to show your insurance card from your phone, just use guided access to lock your insurance app so officers can't peruse your phone if you need to hand it over. Also useful for handing someone your phone in general. o7

This is an EXCELLENT case! For the price, I’m not sure you could ask for more. The slim design is amazing-barely takes up any room in my pocket. The wallet sleeve holds 2-3 cards and a $20 bill. I fit 3 cards into mine but it’s super snug at first (which is what you want). Over time the sleeve is supposed to relax a tiny bit to allow easier access to your cards while still keeping them tightly held in place. I love the grippy texture of the case that makes it easy to hold and I personally think it has a really nice look! The only thing I’m not sold on is the “kickstand” which is just a slot that you put a credit card in to prop up the phone. Works okay but not amazing. (covered up the card I was using for the kickstand with the insert that came with the case, for privacy)
Overall, it’s a GREAT case for the price. Definitely recommend.
