Meet Lisa, our talented Associate Photographer who has been capturing beautiful moments with us for over a decade. She has a way of making everyone feel at ease while expertly posing you and your family (and yes getting everyone to be looking at the camera). When you don’t even realize it, she’s capturing the candid, unplanned, and often our favorite moments of every family session. Lisa is the one I trust to photograph my own family photos each year, including our cherished Christmas card photos. “We realized that she's growing up so fast and really just want to catch this time.” This is what Danielle, mom of 3-year-old Brooklyn wrote to me. Their little girl was entering pre-school and they wanted to make sure they captured this special milestone. This, I thought to myself, is exactly why I LOVE being a portrait photographer. I have the honor of preserving moments like these. These moments are precious and fleeting and I know this too, as a mother of two growing boys.
