Tori Spelling has an unfortunate new fear of sitting on a toilet and it's all thanks to an early-morning visit to the bathroom where she encountered an extremely unwelcome guest — a massive spider.

Spelling made the revelation during a recent episode of her misSPELLING podcast, sharing that since her split from ex-husband Dean McDermott, she's had to become the "bug corraller" for her household despite her "very big fear of bugs [and] specifically spiders" and take care of any creepy crawlies that might be lurking around the home she shares with their five children.

However, her new role came to a head when she got up early one morning to use the bathroom and came face to face with a "ginormous" spider crawling just under the toilet seat.

"I got up, went to go pee and for some reason, something told me to look into — and I don't usually do this because it's early, it was like 6 a.m., you go and you just sit on the toilet to go pee — and something told me to look down," she recalled. "And when I looked down, there was the biggest spider crawling out from under the seat of my toilet. I'm not gonna lie, it was huge. It was ginormous."

The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum said she tried to flush the spider down but that didn't work, leading her to become "panicked" as she attempted to get rid of the insect by "[drowning] the sucker." When that didn't help, she managed to get the spider on the ground where it "started running," with Spelling joking that the resilient arachnid was like a cat with nine lives. She eventually stepped on it, "bummed" because she was in her "Balenciaga slippers," but when she checked under her shoe, "it was gone, it got away."

The experience has left her with a "fear" of sitting on the toilet on the chance another spider will be hanging around.

"So now I can't sit on a toilet like... That's a fear that, like a spider will crawl into your private parts and your butthole and lay eggs," she said. "And what happens? Does it die up there? I don't know."

Elsewhere in the episode, Spelling answered some personal questions and gave "commenTORIES" to queries listeners sent in, from sharing teenage anecdotes of how her mom took her to a "luxurious" spa to wax her legs for the first time to the unique creature she said was the "most curious animal" she has ever had in her family.
