If you've been anxiously waiting for Adele to drop new music, you'll have to wait quite a bit longer as she reportedly has no plans "at all" to release new tunes any time soon.

The "Easy on Me" singer, who last released new music in 2021 with her fourth album 30, made the revelation during a recent interview with German outlet ZDF, saying she would like to focus on "other creative things" instead of music as she needs a "big break," per People.

"I don't have any plans for new music, at all," she said. "I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while."

As one of the most recognizable names is music today, Adele has conflicting feelings about the fame that comes with making music, notably that she doesn't enjoy that aspect of her life.

"I don't like being famous," she said. "I love that I get to make music all the time."

Though she doesn't plan on writing an album soon, she is ready to hit the road and perform for fans all over on a tour whenever she does eventually release new music.

Adele previously spoke about big plans for the future following the end of her Weekends with Adele Las Vegas residency, revealing that she would like to expand her family and welcome a new baby with alleged husband Rich Paul. She already shares 11-year-old son Angelo with her ex-husband Simon Konecki.
