Kris Jenner is feeling "really emotional" as she deals with a scary diagnosis and the next steps she has to take to overcome it.

During Thursday's (July 4) episode of The Kardashians, the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch opened up to her daughters Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, as well as Kourtney Kardashian via FaceTime, on a family trip to Aspen about how doctors found "a little tumor" on her ovary during a scan, per Entertainment Tonight.

"I wanted to tell you guys something because I hadn't told you," she said. "I went to the doctor, and I had my scan. The found — and this just makes me really emotional but — they found a cyst and, like, a little tumor on my ovary."

Through tears, Jenner said that she will have a procedure to remove her ovaries. The mom of six explained in a confessional more about why the surgery is hitting a sore spot emotionally, not because of the procedure itself but for what it means symbolically.

"I'm emotional about it because that's where all my kids were conceived and that's where they were grown, in my tummy and so, this [is a] very sacred place to me," Jenner said. She added to her kids, "It's also a thing of getting older, and it's a sign that we're done with this part of your life. It's a whole chapter that's closed."

Jenner's daughters were concerned for her, with Kim claiming to be "really sad" that her mom has to go through the surgery, calling it a "really big deal," while Kourtney, who gave birth to her fourth child last year, understands where her mom is coming from.

"I totally understand how my mom is feeling because I would feel the same way," she said in a confessional. "It's like your womanly power. And it doesn't mean that it's taking away who she is or what she's experienced, but I would feel this sentimental thing of what it's created."

Kendall acknowledged that her mom is feeling an overwhelming "emotion" about the procedure, but the model had a more practical view.

"I get her emotion behind it. I get that it's sad because they have brought all her kids into the world, which is totally fair. But at the same time, what are we going to use those for?" she said. "If they're potentially hurting you, let's get them out of there."
