• When and where is AWS Summit New York?
  

  The event will be held at the Javits Center in New York on July 10, 2024. See the detailed agenda and session catalog on the Agenda page.

• Who should attend AWS Summit New York?
  

  AWS Summit New York is ideal with developers, engineers, system administrators, systems architects, IT executives, and technical decision-makers. Session content will accommodate all levels of familiarity from beginners (level 100) to expert (level 400). Attendees can choose between lecture-style presentations, interactive learning guided by AWS experts, customer keynotes, white-boarding sessions, an expo hall, and much more.

• Is there a price to attend?
  

  No. Registration is complimentary for this event and includes access to meals, expo hall, keynote, sessions, and receptions.

• How can I get to AWS Summit New York?
  

  The Javits Center is conveniently located in at 429 11th Ave, New York, NY between 34th and 38th streets. The Convention Center is served by 3 major airports (JFK, Newark Liberty International and LaGuardia) with easy access by car or public transportation.

• Can I get reimbursed by AWS for parking or travel costs?
  

  No, AWS does not reimburse or validate parking or other travel associated costs.

• Is there a hotel to reserve for AWS Summits?
  

  We don't have a dedicated block for this event, but you can review nearby hotels on the New York City tourism website.

• Do you offer continuing education credits to attendees or a certificate of attendance?
  

  AWS Summit New York does not offer continuing or professional education credits nor does AWS offer a certificate of attendance. Attendees can participate in Training & Certification sessions onsite, but please note credits will not be awarded.

• What is the dress code for attendees?
  

  There is no dress code for attendees. Attendee attire varies from business casual, suits, hoodies and jeans. Please wear what you are comfortable in.

• Is there an age requirement to attend AWS Summit New York?
  

  Yes. All attendees must be at least 18 years of age on the day they pick up their conference badge.

• What is the AWS Code of Conduct?
  

  Please see here for the AWS Code of Conduct. All attendees must comply with the Code of Conduct.

• Can everyone attend keynote?
  

  Space in the keynote hall is limited. If you don't receive a seat, you can watch from the Expo or from content rooms throughout the event.
  

Accessibility and Inclusion

• Are lactation rooms available?
  

  Yes. Lactation rooms are designed to provide a private, secure space for lactating attendees to express milk. The spaces are equipped with lockers, cold packs, wipes, and comfy chairs.

• How do I request accessibility services?

• What accessible services will be available?
  

  We'll have many services available at the Summit, including:
  

  • ASL (American Sign Language)
  • CART (Communication Access Real-time Translation)
  • Mobility device rental
  • Assistive listening
  • Dispersed and designated seating

• Do you allow service animals?
  

  Service animals are welcome at AWS Summit New York. For guest hotel rooms, there are specific guidelines around service and support animals at each hotel property. Please connect directly with your hotel’s reservation desk or concierge prior to arriving for more information.
