This is a gorgeous and striking, 1950's vintage, violet tulle and velvet ball gown. The gown has a taffeta underslip, layers of tulle, a boned bodice, and a side zipper for closure. The violet velvet crosses over the bodice and forms a modified apron on the side of the hip. Pleated tulle comprises the other half of the bodice and rhinestone buttons accentuate it. The gown is equivalent to a size 8 and is in remarkable condition.
