Orion’s Image - Eye Of The Psychic

Feature Articles – Orion’s Image The New World equivalent of the Gizeh pyramids may well be Teotihuacan, even in as much detail that its layout also mimics astronomical information, even that of Orion’s Belt. by Philip Coppens The citadel of Teotihuacan, just outside of Mexico City, is one of the most famous sites constructed by our ancestors. Stylized Aztec buildings, Gustav Nordgren

I created this little project for ForgeOfEmpires. Its an interpretation of aztec architecture, it is really fun to imagine how the buildings would be painted and how the ornaments would have looked new. Considering the size of the game a lot of the detailed ornaments had to be simplified for a better read. At some point I would love to design some full scale high detail Aztec buildings!

The Maya Ruins of Edzná - The Yucatan For 91 Days

Found 50 kilometers inland from Campeche, the Maya site of Edzná is best known for its five-level pyramid-palace structure. Without our own transportation, Edzná was difficult to reach, but the opportunity to see its compact and beautiful ruins made the effort worthwhile.
