I just saw Bell, Book, And Candle- a super goth 1950s movie with witchy outfits, primitive art, and of course, a cat. The film isn't set at Halloween, but it has such a Halloween-y vibe, it's perfect for this time of year. One of my all time favourite films, as it involves witches, Christmas, Jack Lemmon, leopard print, a cat and the divine Kim Novak. I know I have posted about it before but that was for Halloween, you know a film is good when it can cross over from Halloween to Christmas. The clothes are just so fricking gorgeous, the backless red velvet dress is my favourite.

The best Kim Novak and Jimmy Stewart movie that isn't Vertigo, Bell Book and Candle could have used a bit more whimsy but it's still enjoyable.
