Cake international

Did you know September is National Sewing Month? The trouble is, I can't sew. I mean, REALLY can't sew. Still, it's Sewing's Month, so let's try to make something, shall we? We'll make a quilt!

The detailed cakes, which took months of work and feature a variety of ingredients, are on display at the Cake International exhibition which takes place in NEC Birmingham from 6 to 8 November.

I created this cake for the Incredible India – International Cake Collaboration. I was so mesmerized by the gorgeous indian saree which became my inspiration.
