A new design! This is La Maison de la Marquise. It's a custom dollhouse I made as a commission. This dollhouse is 22" across x 15 1/4" deep x 21" tall. The exterior is mostly plaster. This will be a kitchen area with French doors. Downstairs is 20 3/4" across x 8 1/2" tall. I used pre cut pieces of wood to make the entry tile. Here is the kitchen space. Souvenirs de Paris is a 1/12 scale miniature dollhouse made from scratch. This house is measures 21" tall x 20 3/4" across x 17 3/4" deep. The downstairs interior measures: 20" x 16 1/8" x 8 1/2" tall. The entrance is 8 1/2" across x 6 3/8" long partition wall. I've finished furnishing Swan Ridge for Barbara. This house is covered in dried flowers and real greenery. No plastic. I found the chairs and tables at Hobby Lobby.They are part of a set with a bench. So I bought 2 sets to have 2 chairs. I love bunting. I think it makes any house look so festive and romantic. Next for Whispering Brook Cottage is a coat of paint. Beth requested an aqua color with the lavender door. It's a bit hard to capture the soft aqua and lavender on camera though. All the bricks and stones have been done with premixed concrete and painted. Next, a bit of aging on the walls, vines and yards. And it will be all done. I just wanted you to see the house before the final touches. You would never think the little details like aging would make such a difference in the end product…

The aqua looks more like a light green on the photos. The house is 18 1/2" tall x 17" across x 18" deep. There is just a touch more blue in the green that does not really show up in the pictures.
