'Winsome And Appealing' Poppy: Saying Goodbye To The Last of Dian Fossey's Mountain Gorillas

Poppy, the last of the mountain gorillas originally studied by renowned primatologist Dian Fossey, who founded the Karisoke Research Center in Rwanda in 1967, is believed to have died. Poppy was unique in that she was studied from birth in 1976 to 2018, when she was last seen in the wild.
