Here’s how to do it:
 
1.     Start with a 4x4 fence post.
2.     Drill holes into the four sides of the block at an upward angle.
3.     Drill one more hole in the middle, intersecting with the angled holes.
4.     Take the lid of a jar and drill a large center hole in it.
5.     Screw the jar lid onto the bottom of the block, ensuring the center hole aligns with the middle hole you drilled.
6.     Attach the jar to the lid to complete the trap.
