One of Barbados' most famous residents is the green monkey and you're bound to see at least one during your time on the island.

Here we have the Golden Lion Tamarin Monkey, which is about the size of a squirrel and has long, silky reddish-brown fur. They are mostly seen in the rainforest lowland of Brazil (Atlantic coast). These creatures eat flowers, fruits, insects, gum and nectars from plants, snails, frogs, bird eggs, and lizards. There are only approximately 800 of these monkeys alive today. — with Prestine Yuna Snider.
