I wanted it to be you

A few months ago we sat down with a company in our home to get a quote for a few windows to be replaced. We wanted to replace a few at a time starting with the windows in the front. Oh, and did I mention we wanted black window frames? When the quote came back at $28,000 (yes, you read that correctly) we were shocked. It got me thinking: why can’t I paint our windows black until we’ve saved for the right moment to replace all our windows. Here's how this DIY project went down.
