The top half of the pin is a quilt with a black background and warped flying geese in columns. The geese move from yellow to orange, red, pink, and plum. Then there is the title text in white with a dark blue background and the bottom is a close up of a retro-styled quilt with pillars of various colors with a curved circular tops. The quilt has a dark blue background and red, yellow, blue, and teal elements. Ricky Timms Convergence Quilt Workshop

Totally encouraged by the kind comments from Jo and Lizzie, I have fixed the bit that was wrong (inbetween other things...) and taken a photo of the square as should be! I even found time to blog about it now, rather than monday.. How is that for good intentions!! (Being up since 5.30am did help a little there too! It's amazing what you can get done with a little extra time!!) Ok... the workshop. We were making the basis for a convergence quilt, led by a lady who had the book by Ricky Timms…

QuiltCon 2023 Quilt Highlights — Ben Millett

During QuiltCon 2020, I created a number of Instagram posts of quilts grouped by various topics. That process really helped me to think about how I was experiencing my first QuiltCon and the amazing wealth of quilts. But it also takes a lot more time and energy than I’ve had at QuiltCon 202
