On August 12, 1968, Led Zeppelin (then were called The New Yardbirds) got together for the first time in history. Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, Robert Plant and John Bonham rehearsed three songs: Train Kept A-Rollin’, Smokestack Lightning, and Dazed and Confused. So all-in-all, 44 years ago today Led Zeppelin was formed.
