The Queen of Heaven Carnival returns with rides, live entertainment and plenty of carnival food.
Here's a look at some of the highlights of things to do over the next week, with an emphasis on the large number of festivals.
“The Golden Girls: The Lost Episodes 5.” Through July 21 at O’Connell & Company, 4110 Bailey Ave., Amherst.

Thankfully, Jessica Fletcher is visiting from Cabot Cove to find the true killer. Todd Warfield directs Michael Seitz (Dorothy), Joey Bucheker (Rose), Michael Bebe Blasdell (Blanche) and Matt Rittler (Sophia). Performances are 7:30 p.m. July 11-14, 18-19 and 3 and 7:30 p.m. July 21. It’s an 18-and-older show. Visit oconnellandcompany.com.
