| Description |
English: Clapham Junction (outward on ex-LSW main lines), 1966. View SW from the London end of Platform 10 with an Up local Class 4EPB EMU arriving from the Wimbledon direction, over to Down Platform 11 and beyond. The 'Busiest Junction in the World' was much scruffier 50+ years ago, yet by 1966 this line from Waterloo was becoming the only one from London where Steam Locomotives still ran. |
