English: Black chair with spindle back and arm rests. This chair, and another like it, was purchased with fee dollars to provide a place for visitors to rest in the Officer's Quarters where they also have the benefit of arm rests to help them rise from the seat. The design is 1840s period and was created to match the existing seats available in the Officer's Quarters. |
