Loved this! I used frozen cherries and peaches, so I omitted the ice and it was a little too thick. If you do this, I would toss in some ice.

This was excellent, but too sweet if you are using fresh fruit. I made it a second time without the agave syrup and it was considerably better.

Doubled the recipe for two. Added 4 pieces of canned guava in a jar from Costco instead of the plum. Superb!

sweet cherries? sour (pie) cherries?

Doubled the cherries. Result was a delicious deep cherry red color and wonderful taste.

This is a very tasty smoothie. You do not need the agave nectar as it’s sweet enough without. Unless you like super sweet smoothies. I also added a bit more almond milk to make it drinkable through a straw. I’m saving this one. It’s really good.

Easy, tasty and healthy. No overpowering almond or cherry flavors. My only “complaint” would be that it could use a little less almond flour for a less gritty feel. We subbed agave nectar for honey for a little extra sweetness. Overall, would make it again!

Delicious! I had some very ripe cherries and peaches, so I left out the agave entirely. I don’t really think it needed the almond extract either, unless you really want it to be VERY almondy.

Make sure you blend it long enough. I didn’t and it was unpleasantly grainy. Maybe longer blending really pulverizes the almond meal?

This is really good with pear instead of plum/peach. I haven’t added agave as it seems unnecessary.

What can you use to substitute with almond flour?

Added bananas instead of peaches in a separate smoothie.

Doubled the cherries. Result was a delicious deep cherry red color and wonderful taste.

Loved this. Doubled recipe and added a pear instead of the peach.

Even with the ice this recipe is really thick, so I ended up adding more almond milk. It still fit in my smoothie glass, and it tasted great.

Why would a smoothie recipe call for almond meal/flour?

Not as much cherry flavor as I was hoping for, and the almond meal makes it gritty.

Eh, I had high hopes for this but it ultimately fell flat. I think they are much better combos out there than this one.
