I love the pale green color of this smoothie. Granny Smith and lime make a great marriage and the yogurt and chia seeds make the sweet and tart smoothie substantial enough to get me through the morning.

Interesting; relatively thin for a smoothy and not too sweet. I'll make it again.

Used 4 mahjong dates, the juice of 1 lime, the zest from 1/2 lime. Used no honey or agave.

I added juice from 1 lime, zest from 1/2 lime & 4 mahjong dates. I used no agave or honey.

I really enjoy this smoothie as-is but like to freeze my apples the night before to get the kind of texture I want. If it ends up too thick (and I don’t feel like pivoting to a smoothie bowl), I add some coconut or almond milk. It’s a refreshing breakfast!

I have my own smoothy methods and add-ins, and what comes out of my blender is always a hit with my family. This time, I made it according to the recipe without substitutions, additions, or omissions. The flavor was pleasing, but I was not as crazy about the texture. Maybe my apples were not ripe enough, or I should've peeled them as the texture was way too chewy. I like looking at what other people think or how they alter the recipe. It's tasty as-is, but maybe could have been a little smoother

leave out the ice cubes if you want a thicker smoothie. had a great flavor. Will probably make it again.

Love this smoothie as is, but this time, I used oat milk, no yogurt, chia and hemp seeds, half an avocado, lime and a small red apple from our neighbor’s tree. No additional sweetener. Yummy!

Might be the best smoothie recipe base ever. No chia seeds, but I added kale, bananas. and almond milk and it was the perfect thickness (not thin at all like some people were getting).

I’ll add protein powder to boost it for breakfast. Next time I may substitute coconut milk for the yogurt.

Summer in a glass..delicious!

Added ⅓ banana which helped the taste and texture.

Tastes like a lassi but not as sweet. Very refreshing and delicious.

Loved it! I will definitely make this again.

This is a very nice smoothie; however, I don't love chewy smoothies and I felt like I was constantly chewing apple peel. If I make this again, I'll peel the apple.

I'd call this a lime smoothie or lassi--the zest fully flavors it, and it's thin like the Indian drink. The apple adds texture and offsets the sourness without interfering with the limey taste. I don't care for sour apples, so I used a combo of Jonathan and Pink Lady (my favorite for all applications), and added more sweetener--maybe 1.5 tablespoons total. Being vegan, I used my homemade soy milk/cashew yogurt, which is nice and sour. With so few ingredients, It was easy to make and refreshing.

A thin smoothie in indeed. But delicious and refreshing. I put in 2tbsp of flex seed to round it up. Will try other tweaks in the comments next time.
