Ingredients
Yield:1¼ cups, enough for 8 servings
- 1cup low-fat ricotta cheese
- 2tablespoons low-fat yogurt
- 2tablespoons honey
- 1teaspoon vanilla
- ½teaspoon cinnamon
Preparation
- Step 1
In the bowl of a food processor, combine all the ingredients and mix until they are smooth. Put the cream in the refrigerator to chill slightly before serving.
- Step 2
Serve over the oven-poached pears or any other warm fruit.

Subbed sour cream for the yogurt, no cinnamon. Very good.

I was looking for a way to utilize some great local ricotta, and this was yummy. We used it instead of whipped cream- it's a nice change.
