    • The music composer duo Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani formed an alliance in 1999 and their first project in the Hindi film industry was for the movie Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi
    • In 2003, the duo produced music for the movie Jhankaar Beats which brought them their first Filmfare
    • They next created chartbusters for movies such as Dus in 2005, Golmaal: Fun Unlimited and Bluffmaster in 2006, Om Shanti Om in 2007, Tashan and Dostana in 2008 and Anjaana Anjaani in 2010
    • They won the Filmfare best music director award for their work in Om Shanti Om, Dostana and Anjaana Anjaani
    • In 2011, Vishal-Shekhar composed music for the superhero movie Ra. One, during which they collaborated with the American singer and rapper Akon to produce the hit number ‘Chammak Challo’. Akon as well as the duo received Filmfare nominations for their contribution to the movie
    • Their music in the 2012 movie Student of the Year and Chennai Express in 2013 was highly appreciated
    • Known for their fusion of rock and Indian classical music, the duo next produced music for several successful films, including Happy New Year in 2014, Sultan in 2016, Tiger Zinda Hai in 2017 and War in 2019
    • Vishal-Shekhar composed the theme song for the third instalment of the IPL in 2010 and also for season 6 of the tournament. They've also composed the IPL team KKR’s team anthem ‘Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo re’
    • Be it together or individually, Vishal-Shekhar have judged singing reality shows like Indian Idol, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Junior, The Voice Kids India etc.
