The '''Battle of Ludwigshafen''' ({{lang-de|Gefecht von Ludwigshafen}}) and the subsequent [[bombardment]] of [[Ludwigshafen am Rhein|Ludwigshafen]] lasted from 15 to 18 June 1849 and was part of the [[Palatine Uprising]] and [[Baden Revolution]]. The young settlement of Ludwigshafen was badly damaged by the shells of the Baden [[artillery]] and the resulting fires.
