On December 15, 2017, NBCUniversal announced that WNEU's newscasts would be rebranded from ''Noticiero Telemundo Boston'' to ''Noticiero Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra'' to reflect an expansion of the news operation's reach to include all of [[New England]].
