* It seems like discussion has moved past this, but just to confirm: I don't think it's sensible to construe the unblock as requiring community review of the AE TBAN, and I think this is the proper venue for an appeal. I support removing the TBAN; time served + the revelation of sockpuppetry is enough for me. I'd be fine granting the appeal with or without B49's 12-month parole proposal. Either way, I echo the unblock discussion's suggestion that SR avoid contentious topics and this discussion's suggestion that disruption on this page is very likely to lead to a restored TBAN.
