Wonder Woman swings both her arms around and slams her bracelets into Superman's ears, specifically targeting his super hearing ("Every strength can be turned into a weakness. When he stops speaking, that's when I know he's using his ears. Super hearing.") It is not the slamming together of her bracelets that causes a concussive force; it is her own strength, focused into the attack (while wearing the bracelets), that produces the concussive force. undo Tags: references removed Visual edit

While important to highlight their relationship, I would think it’s a little out of scope for an article on Wonder Woman’s bracelets and unrelated to the influences Marston had when creating the character. I used primary resources and a Time article for reference. undo
