Bedford is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) located in the town of Bedford in Westchester County, New York, United States. The population was 1,834 at the 2010 census.[2]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the community has a total area of 3.6 square miles (9.2 km2), of which 3.5 square miles (9.1 km2) is land and 0.039 square miles (0.1 km2), or 1.35%, is water.[2]
