Hey LaserBrain: i pity you. You are the kind of soul who gives Protestants a bad name. Regardless of your edits, we Catholics will continue to identify ourselves as "Catholics," NOT "Roman" Catholics. You are in my prayers.

Dude, just listen to yourself. Do you really have nothing better to do than chastise Catholics for not calling ourselves "Roman" as you think we should? You have too much time on your hands, and too little brains in your head. Seriously, get it together. It's not my fault if Protestants are generally ignorant about their Catholic brethren.

You betray your own ignorance and prejudice by insisting the Catholic Church identifies itself as such "somewhat ambiguously." There is nothing "ambiguous" about it, although your use of the word leads me to belief you don't know the meaning. Let me make this clear: the Catholic Chuch unequivocally refers to itself as the "Catholic Church." Only bigoted and moronic Protestants generally insist on insisting we Catholics call ourselves "Roman" Catholics. The truth and reality is that we have the right to call ourselves whatever we choose, not what YOU choose. Dude, better look in the mirror and ask yourself your true motives and re-editing and calling us "Roman" Catholic. You appear to be a nitwit, but i don't insist on your identifying yourself as one. By the bye, for us Catholics Protestants are "apostates": get out your dictionary and grow up, pal.

Loyola University is a "Catholic" university: there is no opinion about it, but is so according to university bylaws and the Jesuit Order. Only Protestants attempt to lable it "Roman" Catholic: the term "Roman" Catholic is mentioned in NONE of the 16 documents of Vatican II. Please refrain from making edits which are prejudicial to the CATHOLIC Church. Thank you. ~Rev. James T. Burtchaell, SJ

Wikipedia does not abide bt "University bylaws" or Vatican II. Wikipedia tries to keep a WP:neutral point of view, that is representing all points of view in a neutral manner. The Catholic Church, as it somewhat ambiguously insists on calling itself, is commonly known as the "Roman Catholic Church" by others, in many cases for disambiguation, and that is why Wikipedia uses it.
The content and manner of your edits are highly disruptive, breaking Wikipedia internal links. Also, your claimed justification is no reason to make [1] edits such as this. Please desist and discuss your issues at an appropriate venue such as Wikipedia:WikiProject Catholicism.

January 2010

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Loyola Catholic School appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Thank you. MegaSloth (talk) 02:32, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
