The Mitsuoka Le-Seyde was a limited produced car, based on the Nissan Silvia S13. Only 500 units were made, and Mitsuoka claims that all were sold within four days after they went on sale.[2]
The Le-Seyde resembles the Zimmer Golden Spirit. They were designed at nissan's special Kyushu plant, where the design for the interior was loosely based on the Nissan Silvia S13. Toyota also assisted in this project by lending the Chassis for the sw20 MR2. The engine used is the same Naturally aspirated 2.0L SR20DE used in the Nissan Silvia.
Dore
Pronounced (DURA), is a convertible version of the Le-Seyde. It was also a limited production model, produced in July 1991.[2][3]
The Dore was based on a Ford Mustang Fox-body.[4] It also used the Mustang's 302 in3 (4.9 L) V8 Engine.
New Le-Seyde
The New Le-Seyde was introduced in late 2000; it is identical to the original Le-Seyde, with only a few minor cosmetic changes, but this model was based on the Nissan Silvia S15.[2]
Its engine was also from the Nissan Silvia S15, the SR20DE.
