Antti Sainio is a Finnish hurdler.

Career

He won the silver medal at the 2023 European Athletics U20 Championships over 400 metres hurdles.[1]

In 2024, Sainio recorded the a new U20 Finnish record of 49.91 seconds for the 400 metres hurdles. He qualified for the final of the 400m hurdles at the 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships with a new Finnish age group record of 49.36 seconds.[2][3]

Personal life

He is a member of Tampere Pyrintö in Tampere, Finland.[4] He is diabetic. He is a Christian.[5]
