Scrubby?

I removed the following sentence from the history section because it was added without a citation by an anonymous user with no other edits and I can't find anything else that mentions the fact: "There is belief that "Scrubby" existed as the official Purdue mascot preceding Purdue Pete in the 1930's."

I think the Purdue libraries have scans of all the old yearbooks on their website, so something like this should be fairly easy to confirm if it were true. Brian the Editor (talk) 21:07, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
