Template:Hang on Ooperhoofd 22:54, 31 July 2007 (UTC) Mommu (Japanese: __) was a Japanese era name (年号, nengō, lit. year name) after the Jitō era and before the Taihō era. This period covered the year 697 through 701. The reigning emperor was Mommu-tennō (__天皇).

- Mommu 1 (__元年; 697): The new era name was created to mark the beginning of the reign of Emperor Mommu. The previous era ended and the new one commenced in Jitō 13.
