The Cass Building is an office building at the corner of Cass and Fort Street, at 455 W. Fort Street in Detroit, Michigan. It is also known as Detroit's Work Place.
Description
The unique looking structure is designed in the International style, and is distinctive for its curtain wall facade of glass. The building currently houses several employment agencies, daycare providers and Neighborhood Legal Services, which focus on meeting the needs of local Detroit residents.
Detroit People Mover Station Fort/Cass is across the street from the building as is Detroit's famous Anchor Bar.
