The Livingston Public Schools serve students in Kindergarten through twelfth grade from Livingston, in Essex County, New Jersey. The district consists of six elementary schools, grades K-5; one middle school for grade 6 and another middle school for grades 7 and 8, and one 9-12 high school. In 1998, Livingston High School received the Blue Ribbon Award from the United States Department of Education, the highest honor that an American school can achieve.
