Jack singing

Jack Terricloth is the stage name of Pete Ventantonio, the charismatic lead singer of the cabaret-punk band The World/Inferno Friendship Society and guitarist/vocalist for Sticks and Stones. Jack was born in 1970 or '71 and grew up in Bridgewater, NJ.

As the frontman and public face of World/Inferno, Jack advocates drinking, lying, travelling, stealing, doing drugs, keeping enemies, always looking one's best, getting in fights, and "walking the walk," through his lyrics, on-stage banter, and a rarely-updated advice column on the band's website and Myspace.

In addition, he is the author of two chapbooks, Cloth Dam Sorrow and Bakshish. The former is a book of five short stories revolving around three characters (the titular Cloth, Dam, and Sorrow), while the second book is a 13-chapter story.
