Napoleon literally had his Waterloo in 1812. ABBA made a song about it. See Waterloo (ABBA song).

I can't even spell "Namoyski", much less write about this person. See Moscow 1812: Napoleon's Fatal March

Minard

Minard's chart of Napoleon's Russian campaign of 1812 that he made in 1869 is pretty famous. See File:Minards chart Napoleons Russian campaign of 1812 made in 1869.jpg. I was having a hard time finding an article about back in July 2020, but I saw that the Charles Joseph Minard article had a lot about it, but visually emphasized his signature and his early work, and seemed to bury the lede. So I created a draft article based on the article about Minard, which (as of January 2021) I've not yet found the time to flesh out fully: User:RobLa/sandbox/Charles Joseph Minard in information visualization.
