Obituaries

[edit]

I have commented out all but one of the links because they are very minor mentions, just a single sentence in one. Furthermore the indexes at the hosting service (Smithsonian/NASA would you believe?) are so buggered that the headings do not match the information displayed, so I gave up trying to find the proper title/author details. If someone with more patience cares to have a crack, I'll be happy to demonstrate what I found so far. HTH HAND Phil | Talk 11:34, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Personal life

[edit]

From the names he gave some of the asteroids, and the comments, I find that his second wife is Anna Benda, with whom he married on 1902 [1][2], his mother's name is Katherina,[3] and his daughter's name is Florentine.[4] His granddaughter was Gertrud Rheden, wife of astronomer Joseph Rheden.[5] Thanks, --Golan's mom (talk) 07:59, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
