The co-ordinates for this entry is incorrect. They show the lake but not Leon Viejo which is to the west near Puerto Momotombo.

The co-ordinates should be 12 23 57 N, 86 37 5 W. Bigbuzzboy (talk) 00:58, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Revisions of September, 2012

[edit]

I have done a major overhaul of this article, rearranging information, fixing translation issues, and generally cleaning up the wording. In doing so, I have only rearranged the information already in the article, and have taken only a cursory look at the external links provided. My Spanish is not strong enough to be confident in making major content changes without more time, but there is a fairly detailed article on León Viejo on the es wiki that could be a valuable resource for any more fluent editor who wishes to improve on my work. -- LWG talk 03:24, 13 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Lack of Citations

[edit]

I'm not sure how to flag the article itself, but it's entirely based on just two sources, and the entire Investigation section doesn't have any citations at all. It almost seems like someone took a single research paper and paraphrased it for this article, down to the section headers (I've never seen a Wikipedia article with a "Conclusion" section before). It would be great to introduce information from other authorities, or at least break up some of the bigger portions into smaller sections and maybe add more images. At the very least, citations need to be included throughout the article, even if everything is based on a single source. Basilcheerwine (talk) 18:27, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
