Am I in the minority of editors who would like to see more inline citations/sources?
[edit]I was rather surprised to see so many paragraphs lacking in-line citations to external, reliable, verifiable sources, given the broad nature of this topic. These would be very helpful to the reader (parent of keen climbers here, who is striving to learn more about the sport, starting, of course, with the Wikipedia page on rock climbing!)
I wonder if the paucity of references might be related to the number of folk editing this article tending to be first-time Wikipedians mainly interested in this one topic, who have not done much training in how to edit?
Sooo, herewith, the link to the excellent training modules here: [1]https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/training/editing-wikipedia
When I have time, I will add more references.
