Delicious food, wonderful service and chill ambiance! I was curious to try out this place on vacation because they offer tapas and it was so good, we came here twice!
Ordered:
Beef carpaccio
Spanish chorizo
Patatas something
Bodega board
Spanish crème brûlée
Piquillo pepper
My favorite was the beef carpaccio, that's the main reason we came back. Everything else was also very good and flavorful tapas. They also have non-alcoholic cocktails, which is fun for non-drinkers! 100% recommend!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan P.Livermore, United States0291Jul 2, 2024
Stopped here on a port of call for an Alaskan cruise. Last night of our cruise - and the best food of the week! Loved the outdoor table, friendly and helpful server, delicious new (to me) wine on her recommendation, and our meals. My friend had the seafood pasta and I had the vegetarian cubanette sandwich. I'm home now scouring the internet for anything like that recipe, it was so unique and delicious. Excellent, relaxing, beautiful spot to enjoy a quiet corner of downtown Victoria.

Came to Victoria as a stop for a cruise and i started looking for places to eat - what got me with this tapas bar is the name of their cocktails-all Depeche Mode songs and I'm a big DM fan! So we went!
This place did not disappoint-from the ambiance to the drinks and food and service! If you are ever in Victoria this is a must try for their tapas.
We ordered a dozen oysters, the gambas, ceviche and anchovy. Everything was amazeballs good!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 1 - 37268259Dec 10, 2023
This was the best place we ate in Victoria. Tons to choose from on the menu, and while it's tapas, the portions are substantial. The beef carpaccio was incredible. So much layered flavors, and the meat was melt in your mouth thin. The cheese board had three different cheeses, figs, jam and bread. Cocktails were unique and well crafted. Quick and friendly service. This is a smaller restaurant, so I'd recommend a group smaller than 5, but you could always call ahead and see what they can accommodate you. Would be perfect for date night or a smaller group . I can't wait to go back!

Bad food, great service and very nice ambiance. We ordered gambas al ajillo, probably the worst I ever had, not real garlic and sauce made with butter instead od olive oil. The Tortilla espanola is hard to describe the mess, look like anything but tortilla espanola. The bread was very good but came with focaccia too... no needs for that in a spanish restaurant. Probably the piquillo pepper was the best but the portion was very small and a lot of lettuce. If you are looking for authentic spanish food stay away from Bodega.

Second time here! Never a disappointment! Food is outstanding. Comfortable little room. Friendly service. Sat in front of the chefs preparing the dishes this time which was awesome. Coming back on my next visit to Victoria for sure!

Wonderful tapas, excellent Izadi rioja and perfect service. Get the chicken liver mousse and the poncho trio--just a suggestion!

When in Victoria, Bodega is a must! We walked in around lunch time, and since they weren't too busy, the hostess managed to get us a table right away, which was very appreciated. Bodega has cosy, fun, and warm vibes! Our server was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. We got some of their house wines to start. Since they adopted the small tapas plates, it's great for sharing. We ordered a bunch of food, and it was all high quality, tasty, and phenomenal. We got the patatas bravas, bay scallops, and cod fish ceviche, served with some potato chips, Gambas al Ajillo, and the grilled broccolini. The flavours of each dish were exquisite and well-executed. I highly recommend this place to all if you're looking for some great bites, drinks and have a fantastic time!

Food, Service and Ambiance was perfect. We tried many of the small plates and still need to go back for more. This place is amazing and very friendly service and attentive staff.
The drinks are wonderful, they know how to make a great Manhattan. If you had a choice between the other restaurants around or this place, this would be my choice. As someone that travels for work and mainly eats out this place is perfect.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
