Cricket Country Kitchen

Cricket's is a little hidden gem. We've been twice for breakfast and once for lunch and have never been disappointed.

The food is fresh, prepared exactly as ordered and is served quickly.
I'm a huge fan of the Grandma's French Toast. It's a cinnamon roll sliced in half and made into French toast. No syrup need for this one.

I've heard good things about the biscuits and gravy. My hubby had them once and enjoyed them. There menu seems to highlight the gravy so it must be good.

See I've is always excellent here too! They bring a full pot of coffee to your table so you don't have to ask for refills.

It's a old school diner feel, so don't expect anything new, but it's a great meal.

First time here, and what disappointment
Order at (ribeye) AKA NOT RIBEYE AT ALL, it was a chew piece of old meet, it tasted like was frozen for at least 6 months, and half of it it was silver skin, the potatoes was old and greasy I couldn't even eat, the sunny side up eggs was running raw couldn't eat either
The coffee witch was big thing for me, it tastes like dirt water, I told one of waitress and she didn't care at all
SO IT WAS MY FIRST AND LAST TIME HERE.

We like this place for breakfast. It is very local and that makes it fun. The food is good with large servings.

There is a unique place with special decor.

Everything was amazing! The best service we've had in a long time at a restaurant. Our server was happy and interactive, always aware of asking if we needed a refill on our drinks or anything. She was the same with all the tables in her section of the restaurant. It was like going to grandma's for Sunday brunch after church. The food was delicious. I had the biscuits and gravy plate with eggs and potatoes. Food was well seasoned. The restaurant had a lot of character, charm and inviting.

We had never been there but a friend recommended it highly. It was great! Fast, friendly service! As we were being led to our table we were asked if we wanted coffee and before I even sat down we had coffee! And a pot left on our table.

So many food choices plus an over sixty section with great prices!

I chose a bacon & cheddar omelette with a biscuit and gravy. Delicious! My husband chose a vegetarian omelette with country potatoes and sourdough toast. He loved his breakfast too.

The ambiance was so fun with crickets, trains, clowns, license plates, and so much more!

What a wonderful little gem! Unpolished though it may be that's its charm. For me it reminds me of the kind of place I ate at with my dad growing up, kitschy and campy memorabilia and clampers decor all over, a rough unfinished unmistakably western ambiance but one that is very comfortable and welcoming.

The servers we met were all very friendly and provided excellent service, making good recommendations and checking back in often.

As for the food, everything we had hit the spot. My Cricket breakfast was everything I wanted, sausage patties, some of the best gravy I've had, a couple of eggs and potatoes. My only complaint is I wasn't wild about the biscuit, it was more cornbread than biscuit, either way it was still delicious! My wife had a chicken fried steak (the correct order) and it was one of the best if not the best CFS I've ever had.

All in all if you're in the area you have to go here!!

One of the most quirkiest places I have been to lately. You can find any type of stuff in the restaurant from floor to ceiling which apparently came with the property (you can find the story behind the menu). Definitely a conversation starter place. Breakfast was country special we had cricket special and something called rootie hoop which was like a comfort food but for breakfast. Service was really fast and friendly. Thanks to our server she was great! My only issue was the prices for breakfast with no drinks, but that's probably is going to be our new normal now around the town! We will go back for sure!

Great little breakfast and lunch spot. 70s hipster vibe decor and atmosphere with great 70s rock music. The breakfast is solid. I ordered the mushroom and cheese omelette which was large in size but did lack a little bit on flavor. I also ordered a side of gravy, which also was a little bit on the blind side. My son had the chicken fried steak which I tried, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was fresh and tender. They have a great train that is hanging from the ceiling that goes around on a track, great spot for kids. Let's talk about our server, Amy! Five big STARS for Amy, for absolutely excellent customer service. Friendly, attentive and very accommodating. One of the best servers out there for sure! We will definitely come back and try this little spot for lunch.

The food was great the service was friendly and quick really loved the ambiance. We will be back.

Great service!! Love the country ambiance, great prices, simple and cozy and family oriented. Quick service, service with a smile, country potatoes and biscuits were pretty good, a little too salty, but good.
The waffle was nice and crisp, but lacked the softness and fluffiness inside. Lots of parking, very busy location.
