Momo Sushi

This place is korean owned and had a variety of dishes on the menu other than sushi. The sushi its-self was pretty cheap and not bad for the price. My personal favorite was the rainbow roll and the Philadelphia roll. There usually is a very short wait but if theres a long wait i personally wouldn't wait the line to eat here.

What a good value for good food! Highly recommend!! The sashimi was fresh and very thick slices. 6 people devoured 2 orders of the deluxe Sashimi plate and 1 spider roll and 1 gangster roll.

The store is on a slope so you travel down stairs inside the store. It's pretty unique and well decorated.

Right next to Gastown. I didn't see parking since we walked here

We ordered the sashimi, spicy rolls, and eel nigiri! The sashimi was fresh and flavorful and the rolls + eel were solid. Not too pricy. A place for solid sushi!

Quick service and good sake for a Saturday night stop. Not alot of room inside but you can make it work.

Great sushi. It's a small restaurant, but we only waited 10 minutes for a group of 4. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. The sashimi is cut THICK, but it melts in your mouth. Will definitely eat here again next time we visit Vancouver.

It seems like a small restaurant from outside, but they have a decent amount of seating and space for a larger group of 6 close to the kitchen. Their menu is pretty standard. I went with the spicy combo and added on a negitoro roll. The spicy combo was around $14 and came with miso soup. The soup was a bit too salty for my liking. Could have been diluted with a bit more water. The rolls came out pretty fast. Spicy tuna had some small pieces of white onion, which I'm not a huge fan of but I didn't notice it too much with the spicy tuna in it. The chopped scallop is different in that it's on top of the sushi roll. And really it was just a squeeze of spicy sauce on top. The negitoro was quite good as the toro was decently fatty and I liked that it was in a larger piece rather than finely chopped up. I thought the fish to rice ratio was pretty good. Although I found the rice to be a bit on the dryer side. Considering price and portion, it's quite reasonable. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but for the area, it's a good option.

Overall, sushi was decent and prices are fair. My meal came out to less than $20 and I was full! Servers were friendly and attentive.

Food is good and price is right. Service is good and the food comes fast. Tempura is crispy but not dry. Chicken in the bento box is juicy. Sashimi is okay.

The place looks small from outside but it has some space in the The miso soup is just right for us to begin the meal. It has maximum dining time so you get to know what you want and enjoy the sushi when it's ready for you. The box A makes my mouth watering and it is yummy!

Come here all the time. Food is great and there's a lot of unique dishes. Service is friendly.

Momo is a pretty well-known sushi chain in Vancouver, due to the amount of locations all around town. The Gastown location looks deceivingly small from the front, but has tons of booths and tables in the back. My friends and I were able to get seated in no time on a weekend, to my surprise. I ordered the Sashimi Assortment, which came with three fat chunks of salmon and tuna as well as a couple pieces of octopus, shrimp, and more fish. My one qualm was that it included two pieces of tamago - not trying to pay $25 for some egg, I wish they replaced that with two pieces of other fish. Other than that, I had no problems at all. Very good fish and no complaints :)

I'm giving this place three stars because we liked the sushi but oh boy it was pretty dirty in the building. The girl was walking around with an electric fly swatter. A little off putting. We were also sitting right in the front of the sushi bar and it was not a clean area. Good prices and lots of different rolls to choose from. The mango was really good! We also got a deep fried roll and it was ok. Huge pieces too.
