Gizmo Viewport unexpected behaviour when clicking on Y axis #1984

Problem description:

Behaviour of gizmo is unexpected. There is some additional rotation when clicking on Y axis.
gizmo controls are OrbitControls

this is the rotation visible when clicking on Y axis

three version: 0.164.1
@react-three/fiber version: 8.16.6
@react-three/drei version: 9.105.6
node version: 19.1.0
npm (or yarn) version: 8.19.3
