Less a review about their drinks (of which there's a huge selection so you're bound to find something you'll like), and more about Fieldwork as an event space: strongly recommend for large group get-togethers, would try to book in advance (note they've adjusted their rates for more popular dates/times)!

We hosted a get-together on a Friday night to welcome out-of-town guests the evening prior to our wedding reception, and reserved the orchard table area (large picnic tables, about a dozen?) for 75 guests for a 2-hour block. Marshall and the team made the entire process very easy. They had drink tickets available, though on reflection I think the physical tickets themselves may not even have been necessary - this is because the Fieldwork staff set up a separate table in our area to take and serve orders so our guests didn't swarm the bar and could stay where the party was! Outside food was allowed with advance notice (although we just brought a few snacks), and there's also pizza and some other food available to order. Overall a great way to spend a summer evening outdoors with friends, family, and a couple drinks - our guests loved the venue and it was a ton of fun!

Great experience, easy to seat yourself and order from your table. Pretty diverse selection of beers, from sours to IPAs (West and New England). I ended up getting a sour that was very unique and an IPA that was solid.

Food menu is focused to bites and pizza, with everything I got being very good. The standout to me was the pizza. 3 people shared 2 and it was more than enough.

Reasonable prices and food, I would certainly return.

After a long day of flying, we craved a place to unwind and stumbled upon Fieldwork Brewing Company-a hidden gem that turned our travel fatigue into pure bliss! Nestled in a unique shipping container setup, this brewery boasts an inviting rock garden with cozy tables that set the perfect scene for relaxation.

We dove right into a couple of beer flights, and every single brew we sampled was exceptional. The variety and quality of the drinks truly impressed us. The atmosphere is just what you need after a hectic travel day-chilled vibes, friendly folks, great service, and an overall great ambiance. Fieldwork Brewing Comapny is an oasis of calm and craft in the heart of the city!

If you are ever in San Mateo area with a big group and also pets, especially when the weather is great, you have to try visiting this brewery. It is in the heart of San Mateo area, but it's in a very secluded area. It's an open top and covered brewery, pet friendly.
This place has amazing vibe it special in the beer, so don't expect a lot of food options to be there, but there are some great choices of beer that you can try it but not service. There's a QR code you scan order and the foods gonna appear on your table and the drinks to the Services super fast , they had very few options for food but they had like pizzas amazing on pizza bread we would definitely go back and visit this place more and more friends because this is fun to go

Not sure why they only have 3.9 stars. Our experience was nothing less than 5. Wonderful atmosphere, outdoor seating. App ordering with quick deliver to your table. Pizza was great and beers are really good.

Met up with a small group here to check out the place. This location (San Leandro) is mostly outdoor seating with a bit of shade here and there. We tried the garlic fries which were awesomely garlicky - yum!! Also a chopped kale salad which was far larger than we expected. It could have served at least two people on its own. We also tried a Detroit style margherita pizza. Despite the menu claiming that all pizzas were available Detroit style, the online ordering system didn't let us do that.

The food came out very quickly and the servers were great and very helpful. A few things to note is that ordering is via a QR code menu. Also their non-alcoholic drink selection is limited to the specialty drinks on the menu. You're not likely to find more 'typical' things like sodas or iced teas. All in all an interesting place and nice to hang out with a small group.

Fun place to visit for some beers and snacks. There's street parking, outside seating in sun or shade. Scan the QR code on the table, order and someone will deliver everything to your table.

There are bathrooms on site and everything ordered came out quickly. Drinks, shishito peppers, pizzas, salads, all good! I enjoyed a couple beers here and would totally visit again.

There are water coolers with cups for you to help yourself. Service was good and everyone enjoyed this fun place. Great assortment of beers too!

This brewery is the perfect hangout spot to catch up with friends on a warm summer afternoon. With their long list of draft beers, there's really something for everyone. while they are known for their hazy IPAs, they have some interesting sour beers which were good too. I love getting a flight whenever I come here so that I can try multiple different beers and compare flavor profiles instead of sticking to just one.
This is a very casual, outdoor brewery. It's open seating and you order via a QR code on your table. It's a kid and dog-friendly brewery. Highly recommend!

As someone who frequents Fieldwork Brewery's Berkeley and San Leandro locations, I was thrilled to explore their San Mateo brewery for the first time.

1. Spacious Outdoor Setting: Unlike the other locations, the San Mateo brewery boasts an inviting outdoor space. With ample seating and charming patios, it's the perfect spot to enjoy your favorite brews while soaking up the California sunshine.

2. A Flight of Flavor: We decided to dive into the beer selection by ordering a flight. Six different drinks awaited us, each with its own unique character. From hoppy IPAs to rich stouts, we were impressed by the variety and quality.

3. Street Parking Convenience: They have some street parking available, making it easy for visitors to access this gem.

Good beer. Good food. Good vibes. The open patio on a warm day is very enjoyable. The pepperoni pizza is just the right amount of fluffy bread and crunch. We had the West Coast Slang IPA today. The QR Code ordering is simple and gets your order to your table quick. Fieldworks is a favorite.
