Ars actionis est actio spectatoribus intra contextum bellarum artium praedita, res a maioribus interdisciplinaria tradita. Actio cum aut sine scripto, fortuita aut arte ordinata, subitaria aut alioquin diligenter designata, cum aut sine societate spectatorum esse potest. Actio viva aut per media, actorque adesse aut abesse potest. Actio esse potest ulla res quae quattuor elementa prima implicat: tempus, spatium, corpus actoris (vel praesentia in medio), et coniunctio actoris et spectatorum. Ars actionis alicubi fieri potest, in ullo loci vel rei genere et ullo spatio temporis. Actiones unius hominis vel totius gregis certo loco et certo tempore opus constituunt, antithesis artis scaenicae, quae orthodoxa artis genera et normas culturales provocat. Exemplar experientia brevis et genuina actori et spectatoribus est in eventu qui iterari, capi, vel vendi non potest.[1] Differentia, late disputata, de quomodo notiones artium visualium et notiones artium actionis adhibentur, significationes spectaculi artis actionis determinare potest.[2]
