We all look forward to restaurants refreshing their menus seasonally, but did you know that bars and lounges do that, too? Case in point: Vegas Vickie’s at Circa Resort & Casino. The downtown hangout recently released a new seasonal menu, inspired by movies and actors that we all know and love.
Each cocktail not only has great ingredients, but also a tongue-in-cheek name, like the Grapes of Wrath, which combines such items as Remy 1748 cognac, Ramazotti Apertivo Rosato, sparkling wine, blackberry and rock melon syrup, creating a fresh drink with great depth. The Smokin!!!! Old Fashioned features Russell’s Reserve 10-year bourbon, plus demerara sugar and orange oil surrounded by a swirl of hickory smoke.
Some of the other delicious drinks to look for include The Dude, with Johnny Walker Black Label scotch that is infused with coffee, Benedictine liqueur and boba. The Midnight Express-o Martini adds a twist to the popular cocktail, with Absolut Vanilia vodka, Kahlua espresso and absinthe. If you like the tropical flavors, check out the profile of Nobody Puts Rum in a Corner, with Mount Gay Eclipse rum, pineapple, banana liqueur, orgeat, tiki bitters and lime. Oh, baby!
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Negroni mixes Tanqueray 10 gin, Campari, sweet vermouth, Avera chocolate bitters and dark creme de cacao to create a delicious sip that might even pass for dessert!
