The CMF sub-brand by Nothing started its life cycle almost a year ago and has focused on delivering affordable devices with a design-first approach. The CMF Buds Pro 2 are the latest addition in the TWS lineup from Nothing and keeping true to its Color, Material, and Finish (CMF) nature feature an attractive design and a $59/€59/£59/INR 4,299 starting price.

We received the India-exclusive blue colorway which features a saturated shade that pops. The design of the case and the buds feels identical to the first gen CMF Buds (non-Pro) and is entirely made from plastic.

Despite their all-plastic nature, the buds and their case feel solid, with the lid closing with a firm snap. The new bit on the Buds Pro 2’s case is that the aluminum alloy dial now serves a functional purpose and can be used to control volume, toggle between ANC and transparency mode, and answer or hang up calls. The ridges on the outer side of the dial also help for a more tactile feel.

The buds feature an in-ear design with color-matched silicone tips and touch controls on the top halves of the stems. These are the first earbuds in the CMF lineup to offer dual drivers with 11mm dynamic bass drivers and 6mm tweeters. Nothing also improved the ANC which can now drown out up to 50dB of noise around you and also added LDAC and surround sound support.

We’ll make sure to test out the sound output on Buds Pro 2 and see if the impressive battery endurance claims are up to par in our full review.

Where is the review?????It's been 2 weeks since it went in for review. This better be worth it

But I'm sure it also isn't surprised to look like a literal toy

It will likely sound just the same as any other TWS: overly bassy with either recessed or harsh treble peaks.
