MEDIA ALERT: Fireworks, Tacos, Tequila, & Music to Illuminate skyline at Duval De Mayo

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 


THIS SUNDAY is Duval De Mayo - A one day Taco, Tequila & Music Experience + Festival happening on the Riverfront in Historic Riverside & Downtown.


The festival will feature THREE stages of live entertainment , 25+ taco makers, live muralists, performers, street corn and churo stations, craft margaritas & tequila distilleries, entertainers, a Makers Village, tequila tasting experience, salsa & dance lessons, pop-up Golden Agave Club, games, a silent disco + more!


This year’s highly anticipated line up will feature performances on three stages by headliners Bryce Vine, BONNIE X CLYDE, Pa Gozar, Caribe Groove, Xperimento, and so many MORE!


Gates will open at noon and all tickets include a complimentary welcome beverage: Craft Margarita using Dano's premium tequila + Sol Squeeze or a Manifest Daiquiri!

FIREWORKS GRAND FINALE: Sunday night’s Grand Finale Fireworks Spectacular - A stunning 15 minute aerial display will illuminate Jacksonville Skyline from an angle, rarely seen and seen only by few. Fireworks will begin at 9:45 shot off a barge just off the banks of the Northbank Riverwalk.

 

Fiesta For A Cause: The festival is hosted by the Wagoner Foundation and the 2024 Charity of Choice is Walk-Off Charities of Jax - A Jacksonville organization who’s mission is to provide opportunities, resources, and access to the game of baseball for any youth that desires to learn or play. Walk Off Charities offers clinics, leagues, tournaments, development programs, facility improvements, and special events to help encourage and foster a healthy baseball culture in Duval County.?

 

The Wagoner Foundation, a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to assist our veterans, support educating our youth, and enrich our community. Following this year's festival, The Wagoner Foundation will reinvest a majority of the funds raised during the event back into the Jacksonville community benefiting multiple local nonprofit organizations. Over the last several years, The Wagoner Foundation has raised in excess of  $160,000 for Jacksonville nonprofits.
